My passion for all things art began in early childhood with art lessons from our family friend and accomplished artist, Deborah Pollard. I studied painting, drawing, ceramics, anything I could! I started a love affair with tape that continues to this day and was known to make “clothes” out of newspaper for family Christmas presents! My studies continued through school and college, where newspaper clothes transitioned to lumpy clay “mugs” and oil paintings, as yet unidentified. However, throughout my studies in art and design, watercolor and drawing remained my favorite, the two mediums that felt effortless to me. I never imagined my work would become a small business accompanying my work as Donor Services Manager at The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region. Thank you, each one of you, for visiting my site, your interest in my work, and support of my business!
